The History
The "porchetta" of Campli (TE) has an ancient story coming from the municipal charters of 1575 reporting many indications on the use, the sale and the cooking of the porchetta. It spread all over the Abruzzi and represents the street food par excellence, it can be eaten as a snack, for lunch or dinner, alone or with bread.
