The state street 80 is very simple to follow. It has neither deviations nor distractions except for admiring the landscape which appears always different and changing at every bend. Departing from Arischia one reaches the Capannelle Pass, then, after a short stretch through the pastures, one climbs down towards the province of Teramo. Once beyond Piaganini and its dam, one reaches Ortolano: a few houses along the street and some restaurants will propose you the local specialties, starting from the mushrooms.
