For this itinerary one can depart from L'Aquila and, after a visit to the archaeological sites of the ancient Amiternum, it is possible to carry out a short deviation towards Arischia, along the state street 80, to visit the Wood Museum but also to purchase the excellent honey produced in the Chiarino valley by Caterina Vittorini. Once back to the main itinerary, in Pizzoli there is a good tradition of sheep cheese production.
