From Teramo, following Valle del Tordino along the SP road corresponding with an ancient way of communication, you will reach Pagliaroli, in the Municipality of Cortino, with S. Salvatore Church (14th century) built on a temple of the 3rd-2nd century BC. In Cortino, it is possible to visit the Red Deer Wildlife Area, created at the edges of Abetina di Cortino, a site of great naturalistic interest characterized by the presence of centuries-old silver firs.
