From the highway exit of Torre de' Passeri, immediately out of the town of Castiglione a Casauria, you will find S. Clemente a Casauria Abbey (11th century), one of the most important medieval monuments in Abruzzi.
From here, entering this section of the Province of Pescara within the Park borders, you will reach Pescosansonesco, situated on the ridge of Peschio, at the top of which you will notice the ruins of Sansoneschi Castle.
