From Montorio al Vomano, taking the road leading to A24 highway toll booth of Colledara, you will meet Tossicia, the ancient capital of the Sicilian Valley, preserving several monuments and architectures of great historical and artistic value like Palazzo Marchesale, S. Sinforosa Church (15th century), and St. Anthony of Padua Church (15th century). There is a network of trails and horse riding trails leading to the surrounding country hamlets and going ahead towards various locations.
