The former Casa Cantoniera housing the Park's Visitor Center and Show Room of the Local Products has been renovated and redeveloped by the Park Authority thanks to a project realized in agreement with the Consortium Arca GAL Abruzzo, that financed the preparation works.
The structure is situated in the province of L'Aquila, only 3 Km far from the A24 highway junction called "Assergi", in Fonte Cerreto, that is a famous mountain locality as well as lower base of the Gran Sasso D'Italia Cable Car, a privileged station to carry out many fascinating hikes.
The fascinating show room is dedicated to the many local products of the Park's territory and it is equipped with several panels describing the unique features of the surrounding area.
The Visitor Center is provided with a place for tourist reception where also the gadgets of the Park are sold and promotional materials are handed out.
The structure also houses the offices of the Consortium GAL Arca Abruzzo.
